Dr. Shahzaib Anwar is a highly skilled and distinguished Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist, and Interventional Endoscopist, accredited in these specialized fields. He completed his foundational medical training and specialized in Gastroenterology at Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide, South Australia. Following this, Dr. Anwar pursued advanced training with a two-year Endoscopy Fellowship at Alfred Hospital Melbourne and Western Health Melbourne. His expertise lies in various areas, including colon cancer screening, Pancreato-biliary disorders, and Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy encompassing procedures such as Therapeutic ERCP, Endoscopic Ultrasound, and Endoscopic resection of large polyps. Dr. Anwar manages a wide range of conditions, including but not limited to Colon Cancer Screening, GORD, Coeliac disease, Barrett’s Oesophagus, Irritable bowel syndrome, as well as liver and Pancreato-biliary disorders. Committed to medical education, Dr. Anwar actively participates in training Gastroenterology registrars and medical students.
